Megavina's Investigators have visited this splendid gourmet restaurant, they ordered a selection of dishes and beverages, visited the facilities (toilets and had a look on the kitchen area if possible), they checked the cleanliness and how the staff interacted with clients. Succulent, attentive, savory

Last summer, La Villa French has brushed of the paint, the restaurant is still very friendly, clean, with a french touch.

It features tables outdoors dotted around the pool, excellent at night time or if you prefer to get your meal in a cosy atmosphere, you will enjoy eating inside, in a large high ceilings dining room with white napkins, a bunch of flowers on each table, comfortable armchairs.

A new set menu is available from the 5th of September including poached eggs on a bed of asparagus with a colorful presentation, veal stew or salmon as a main course and chocolate cake or cherry clafouti as dessert. We finally chose a tender piece of beef served with vegetables, duck magret perfectly cooked simply delicious, the cheese platter that is worth seeing (any expatriate will give you that same feeling while enjoying cheese and bread) and as dessert, a homemade Millefeuille.

A good culinary experience, an attentive staff without being intrusive supervised by Tina the owner and wife of the Chef.
The Villa is very romantic, the cuisine just excellent using fresh products, mixing different flavours. The staff seems well trained even if they are a bit hesitant in their behaviour. The chef Thierry Mounon came out to greet us. His cuisine is very authentic, his menu reflects his love for his french heritage. We would certainly have liked more contemporary edge, a touch of modernism or creativity but we left this beautiful place, very happy, the meal was savoury and delicate, the service very good and the place luxurious and peaceful.
In France, "La Villa French" would probably have received a Michelin star. We will no doubt return to try other dishes and like any epicurean to appreciate the cheese platter served with a good wine. We will also be tempted by the "Lobster" menu or the 10 dishes Menu called "The Chef Degustation".

For the moment, la Villa French is the best restaurant in Ho Chi Minh city visited by our team offering quality and professional service, succulent food, beautiful atmosphere, warm welcoming

How to find La Villa French restaurant Ho Chi Minh

La Villa French is at less 8km from Benh Tanh Market and  7 km from the French Embassy. The restaurant is tucked away in Thao Dien, a quiet hub of Ho Chi Minh City. By taxi, it takes around 20 minutes for a cost of 150.000VND (7USD). By bus, you may use the line 53 from Ben Tanh and stop to 794 Quốc lộ 52, you will still have a few minutes walking to access the establishment.

    Certify Splendid establishment, professional service, la Villa French is the perfect restaurant to relax and enjoy succulent french dishes made by the chef Thierry Mounon. My wife and I would like also to thank Tina, the owner for her welcoming, we had a very good dinner. Thanks a lot! Foie gras was excellent, lobster so savory, scallop in the glass so tender and the cheeseboard, wow!

    Difficile de donner une note à ce très bon restaurant, ma femme et moi ne pensions pas manger aussi bien a des milliers de kilomètres de Paris. Ambiance romantique, plein de petits détails, une cuisine saveur accompagnée d'un vin parfait.

    Hôm nay mình và bạn đã đến ăn trưa miễn phí tại nhà hàng ^^ cảm nhận đầu tiên là phong cách bài trí rất đẹp, nhân viên phục vụ tận tình và lịch sự còn đồ ăn thì miễn chê luôn thích thật.
    Nguyên liệu của nhà hàng này rất là chất lượng, cả rượu và thịt đều là hàng nhập khẩu, đưa vào miệng cái là thấy ngay chất lượng của nó. À mình không phải là sính ngoại nhưng phải công nhận là thịt nhập khẩu ngon hơn thịt nhà mình nhiều ý. Các món rất ngon, mình đã thử steak, ngon.

    Un moment merveilleux passé entre amis dans ce somptueux restaurant de cuisine francaise. J'ai adore ces plats délicats et vraiment trés bons. La décoration est belle avec des nappes blanches et roses rouges. Du pain dans les corbeilles et de grands verres pour le vin. Le cuisinier est très gentil. J'ai pu apprécier aussi les fromages que j'aime beaucoup et la tarte aux fraises. Nous reviendrons cela est certain !

    Difficult to leave a review because everything was just amazing. From the main gate until the dessert, i felt like if i was a princess. Food was not good, it was delicious and tasty. Tables around the pool are very romantic, the french chef very friendly who came to say hello. I just say "Bravo"...

    Festival of colors in the plate, savoury dishes, delicate attention from the staff, a funny and very friendly owner. I love it! I was not expecting to be so happy after a so delicious dinner. Thanks to every one. The dessert called baba rhum with pineapple was so great!

    Mon mari et moi sommes ravis d'avoir diner dans cet établissement. Tina nous a accueilli avec sourire, le chef Thierry nous a régalé avec des plats aurant en couleurs qu'en gout, c'était divin et à des prix peu chers par rapport à la France. Merci à vous

    I love France but i was not expecting so much talent with a savory dinner in a beautiful villa. I can say everything was perfect, the wine selection, the scallops, the small poultry stuffed with truffles and foie gras... It's difficult to give a note so i just say thanks so much for this big surprise in Saigon... I will keep your address...

    We ate in this restaurant, well i was expecting a french bistrot cause a friend told me to go there. My wife and I were surprised, the dining room is splendid and the food gorgeous, i will say it's "La bonne cuisine" after 15 days eating pho and other springrolls. How can i send pictures of Vietnam on Megavina ?
