Dam Sen Water Park Saigon

Dam Sen Water Park saigon is only a 30 minute taxi ride from the town centre.
It's very clean, not busy at all, no queues, no waiting on any ride, but we have been there on a Thursday. During holidays and weekends, it's probably full.
Slides are based on height (over 1.4m to go on the big slides), but there were enough mid range slides to keep your kids busy.
There are numerous slides to choose from scary to not so scary.
- Waterslides : The slides are the real stars of this water park. Chute yourself down the colorful toboggans.
- Some slides, like Black Thunder, are ridden on inflatable rafts.
- Wave Pool: The wave pool is fronted by a sea of plastic loungers and skirted by palms.
- Zip Line
- Wandering River
- kids area.
We thought it compared well to other water parks we have been to in Australia/Japan, with the added advantages of a very low entry fee and a good Vietnamese food. Kids can bounce, jump and play all day at these indoor fun water world.
For value for money you can't knock it! Sure the slides are not finished to Western standards (a little bit rough round the edges) but for 130.000vnd, it's difficult to complain. There is plenty of shade and well kept gardens. We regret that there are just one english so as foreigner, we feel a bit a lost.
For foreigners a little trick is to know that a private area has been set aside on top of the change rooms which are really wet and busy. To get to the foreigner seating area, lockers and changing room (which are always empty) head past the change rooms to the end of the speed slides and take the big staircase up to the third level, here you will find an area marked Foreigners only and you can laze away all day in a private area.
Highly recommended for families with toddlers to teens, and anyone wanting to cool down.
