From our arrival, the staff were very friendly and attentive, because we booked through internet, we didn't have to wait so long to check-in. Our room #612 was on the sixth floor, we followed the groom until the room, he showed us the mini bar, switched on the lights and showed us the wardrobe. Only in Vietnam, staff used to take off their shoes to enter into a room :)

Room was quite large and comfortable, thick carpet on the floor, small but clean and nice bathroom. Large window bay with a balcony, double glazing (very good soundproof), a sofa and a small table with complimentary dragon fruits. The mini bar was full and offered soft drinks, beers and alcohol (Gilbey's Gin, Black Label, Chivas Regal 12 Year Old Scotch Whisky, Kartell...) and a few snacks (crisps, candies).

On the 6th floor, there was the Health club, to relax with a massage or boost your immune system with a fitness session. We didn't test those services but the facilities were clean and welcoming.

On the ground floor, in the restaurant Corso Steackhouse and bar, we enjoyed a large buffet composed of a variety of western and asian dishes (bacon, sausages, pancakes, mash potatoes, stewed beef, salad, cucumber, tomatoes, stirfried vegs, cold platter, croissants and chocolate croissants, breads, cheese, scrambled eggs, soup, kimchi, rice, different kind of fresh fruits (watermelon, papaya, banana, gala melon), cereals, dragon fruit and orange juice... You can also order hot vietnamese dishes such as Miến gà (chicken soup) Gỏi cuốn nóng (a kind of warm fresh rolls stuffed with pork). The breakfast buffet was large enough to satisfy most of the customers. The staff was very helpful, polite and attentive.

The restaurant offers for lunch and dinner, a mouthwatering gourmet selection. We received complimentary drink vouchers to use at the bar unfortunately we didn't have time to sip on any beverages.

Norfolk Hotel respects the international standards, the staff know how to serve well the customers, many fresh flowers and petals are used to decorate the corridors and the reception, it's difficult not to see the efforts, care and attention to detail. A good value for money and the perfect place for a silent and sweet night.
