Close to the Palace Saigon Hotel, Lucky Plaza and Gartenstadt restaurant, Pho 24 is on Đồng Khởi street. First thing important, if you arrive by scooter, there's not so much space to park better walking or coming by taxi.The main window glass door is not very clean, is it a good or a bad feeling?

We decided to enter and sit at a table. We had to wait a few minutes before one waiter come with menus. Don't expect "hello" or even "xin chào", it doesn't seem to be a friendly restaurant or may be they don't appreciate foreigners...

We chose a "phở bò" (beef soup) and "Phở Đặc Biệt" (which seems to be an assortment of different meats) and a soda.

The menu is written in vietnamese and english so very easy to understand. The black tables are quite old and not very clean, i will say even a bit sticky, we understood why by looking at how the waiter cleaned after the customers left. In fact he didn't use any cleaner spray, just a dirty rag and everything on the floor!

The food was ok even if the meat had a lot of nerves veins and arteries for me, the regular one dish is too small for an adult, it exists a large portion for 10.000đ extra. To compare Pho Hoa on Pasteur street has got a better value for money and the bouillon is more tasty.

This famous brand "Pho 24" has got plenty of restaurants in town, the one in Đồng Khởi street doesn't seem to be the best one!

If they were more polite and more caring of clients, cleaning properly their tables, the main window glass, the floor and the toilets, they should get a better score...
