Cu Chi Tunnels
One of the big tourist attractions in Saigon are the Cu Chi tunnels. Cu Chi is a suburban district of Ho Chi Minh City. Cu Chi tunnels are a huge network of connecting underground caves and tunnels, which where used by the Viet Cong in the Vietnam war.
From Ho Chi Minh city you may find many agencies selling half day tickets for Cu Chi including bus and guide. Price per person is around 130.000 VND.
There is a fee for Cu Chi entrance 90.000 VND for foreigners and 20.000 VND for vietnamese.
If you have time and if you don't want to be part of a group, you may choose to take the public bus in distric 1 to Cu Chi tunnel, it costs only 18.000 VND. Of course you won't have any guide to present you the site.
Going by public bus you first have to take bus 13, which takes off at the Ho Chi Minh city bus center in the first district (see map below), and go all the way to the end station in Cu Chi.
At the Cu Chi bus station you have to switch to bus 79, which takes you directly to the tunnels. There are several signs along the way saying Cu Chi tunnels, so you can’t miss it.

How to find Cu Chi Tunnels
At the end of our tour we’ll drive back to Ho Chi Minh City and drop you off at your hotel at around 18:00.
