Sydney Italian Wine and Food Festival
Special Event was Sunday 21st of August 2016 from 11am to 9pm at Sydney Town Hall, Centennial Hall
Everything that's good about eating and drinking in Italy comes together under one roof in August in Sydney with the Italian Wine & Food Festival. This event was in May in Melbourne and it was a real success. Just as the appeal of Italian food runs from street-style pizza fun for the whole family to fresh pasta finery for the connoisseur, the festival has food, drink, entertainment and information to suit everyone from spaghetti-loving kids to the most engaged Italian-speaking wine lover. The Italians say they do it better! Are you ready to put them to the test?
What can we expect from the fourth year of Sydney’s biggest Italian food festival?
The event will host chefs from some of Sydney’s favourite Italian restaurants, the Chef Giovanni Pilu from Pilu at Freshwater, Giovanni’s philosophy lies at the heart of the restaurant "Food, and the hospitality associated with sharing it, is integral to the Sardinian way of Life", the Chef from Naples Armando Percuoco working at Buon Ricordo Ristorante, the Chef Adam Swanson from the decadent and luxury interiors restaurant Lot 1 without forgetting the Chef Richard Ptacnik from Otto ristorante.
The food market will feature stalls from Goose on the Loose, RivaReno, Dolcettini, Velutti’s Fresh Produce and a pop-up cooking school from Salt Meats Cheese, among others...
With more than 200 wines and a move to Town Hall’s upper sanctum, this year’s Sydney Italian Food and Wine Festival is going to be amazing!
