Megavina's Investigators have visited this 3-star hotel, they tested a room, the main services and facilities, they checked the cleanliness and how the staff interacted with clients. Our investigators work anonymously, the best way to get real and objective reviews because the staff and the managers don't know that we are investigating.

Good breakfast, comfy bedding, professional staff

Prices are higher than in most of the 3-star establishments but it's difficult to tell you why. The staff is very caring, they will guide you for your visits in the best places to see in Hanoi city. Special attention in the rooms is exceptional for this type of hotel (flower petals, fruit basket, balloons for birthday...), it is rare to have so many attentions. The reception staff speaks English and Vietnamese.

We regret the lack of windows in some rooms and the noise. The room soundproofing of the hotel is very bad, we don't understand that they built the hotel without thinking of the soundproofing. At 5:30 am, some clients may be bothered by the noise of the street, if the Vietnamese get up very early, this is not the case for tourists.

The hotel elevator stopped at the 6th floor. Our room was on the eighth floor so we had to to walk up their staircases and aisle without air conditioning, it was particularly hot and tiring.

Concerning the restaurant, it was too small, only five tables, breakfast was amazing and the staff lovely, helpful and polite.

The breakfast had a selection of very different dishes (Japanese, Mexican, western ...) from a menu like in a restaurant. This is not bad because everyone can eat what he wants depending on his mood, his hunger and desires.

The Meracus Hotel 2 is located in the Old Quarter, a 5-minute walk from the famous Thang Long Puppet Theatre on the water. You can reach the Noi Bai International Airport in 45 minutes by car.

You'll love the French restaurant, La Verticale, managed by the chef Didier Corlou or the Millennium Cafe des Arts offering an epicurean menu for lovers of good food.
Vietnamese cuisine lovers will enjoy the Bun Cha Hang Manh and for Indian cuisine tasters, the Khazaana Indian Halal.
